okay guys i am asking for any help that can be given.
I have purchased a cattman catback setup and i want to install it myself, so i went with an .org members advice and got the 2.5 ton jack with a 21" lift ability and i tried to test the raising of thecar before i go ahead and do it that day and cant seem to raise it high enough. Also where can i put the jack on the car to lift the car equally and not put much strain on the suspension. I have a sway bar or else i would put it right on it. If you can help please do. I am a novice at this kind of stuff and want to learn by doing the install myself. I would greatly appreciate the wisdom of those that have done the install themselves.
(I noticed that shurik had all four wheels in the air with jackstands, is that the right way to go about it.)

1. I said 3.5 ton jack and stands, not 2.5.

2. There is no need to jack the front up, the rear alone is fine, just make sure the car is in gear or use wheel chocks to make sure the front is secure.

3. Those pics are Semy2k2go's and he has the car jacked up by the rear beam, so that should work for ya too.

I have the addco RSB and have lifted the rear with it many times......the bar is flexible and will bend back into place once u drop the car down....i don't advise u to do it all the time....but maybe once in awhile when u needa jack up the rear....doing so from the rear will be fine

How about just taking the bar off? That's easy to take off and put back... or you can do what Steven said and leave it on there...
