Need help deciding on a caliper

The OEM caliper is like $270 after $80 core trade-in at Dave B's. The generic one from Advance Auto Parts with ltd lifetime warranty costs $78.88 after $60 core trade-in. Which one would you recommend to buy?

Neither.

300ZX calipers from Matt Blehm... or at least a 6th Gen caliper... I'm looking to ditch our tiny OEM calipers as soon as I can....

Btw, I found 300ZX calipers listed at a junkyard in Elkton, MD for $75 apiece.... so you could go that route too... but you'll still need the brackets from Matt I think...

Sorry, didn't answer your question, but personally if I had to change calipers, that's the route I'd go.

look guys I am not trying to experiment with my car, so ruling out any 300ZX or 2004 calipers.

My choice is either go with OEM caliper or the one from Advance Auto Parts..

if its a limited lifetime warranty, make sure u understand the terms of the 'limited' part, and go with advance...most of them are rebuilt oem's anyway

Hey Linkmaster, you by chance have one for the 6th gen caliper? I'd like to see a pic of them......thanks mang

I'm going the same route, think i'm getting a steal on the 300zx calipers, but if it falls through, can you get more from that junkyard? I might pick up a couple if you can.

That sounds like a sensible approach... but I don't know enough about AA's stuff to know for sure... all the best...

I just talked to Advance Autoparts employee. Limited Lifetime wtty means that the caliper will be replaced only one time. The caliper is OEm remanufactured.

If I'm replacing the left rear one, do I need to replace the right rear caliper as well???
