In the parts sticky I saw a number of companies that make dash kits for a 2K1 Max. What kits are recommended for the brushed alumnium look. Actually looking for the same look as a 2K1 5Spd shift ****? Any feedback about kits or what looks good would be cool.

Thanks!

My opinion is that Joshua Tree kits are weak. Mike is nice, and he tries hard, but the kits are lower quality than the B&I kits from wooddash.com -- there are fewer gaps, it's just a better fit. Mike sells kits from Spectrum, and they have worse gaps in my experience.

Woodview kits definately. That is the only kit that is molded to fit the dash and doors. It actually covers the whole panel and not just the front of the panel. I have it my car now and people actually think that I replaced the whole panel b/c it looks like it came that way. Email me for pics!

I agree with you on this. I don't know who the suppliers are, but Mike is excellent in customer service. I'm not thrilled with the fit of the JT kit though. I have a few gaps. I would prefer a one piece center console, instead of 2. I'm still looking for a good quality kit. I'm going to delay this decision though. I'm undecided about upgrading to a new Maxima or Altima this fall.

I will post some pics tonight when I get home from work. One guy did the work for me locally and did my dash, seats, body kit, etc. I think his website is cwwautomotive.com and they have those kits in wood and brushed aluminum for sure. It looks classy b/c it doesn't have 35 pieces and every part is once piece. I think my kit has 11 or 12 pieces, vents, doors and center console. It is the bomb. I lie and tell everyone that is custom and you can too! SHHHHH. Don't tell.

I have the Joshua Tree real brushed alum kit, but if you've got something that looks better, I'm in! I'm having to get JT to send me some more pieces since I've done some changes to my interior. If there is a kit that looks and fits better, I think I want to see it ... so post it dammittttt!

Thanks!
