Removing LED spoiler light...HELP!!!

I'm trying to remove the spoiler LED light so that I can install a clear one. I followed the how-to sticky, but mine seems to have a middle tab or something holding it in because after loosening and removing the two outer bolts I cannot remove it from the spoiler. Is there a middle tab on the LED bar held by one of the bolts on the pedestal of the spoiler? I tried loosening one, and it started to strip. Anone who has done this mod please help because I don't want to break my stock LED light. Thanks!

I did this mod and there is a screw in the middle with a tab there too. I took the screw out and the tab was still attached. I ended up breaking my stock one and then just replacing it with the clear one.

Also, check the sticky "how-to". There's a writeup with pics, too. Well, it seems there is no vail, that middle tab is almost impossible to get out. It seems like there is a clip or something holding it in. Oh well, I just wanted to save my stock one without breaking it. It costs like $150.00 for a new one.
