First,
I was stuck driving my wife car today(1999 Altima) and MAN was I happy to be back in the Max. Really Appreciated how much fun She is to drive.


Second,
I put a spoiler on the Max finally, the First of a few mods planed this year. Which leads me into the third thing


Third,
Got an e-mail from Troy Horn today(a represenative from KYB) Saying that "Recommended drop is no more than 1.3 inches of a drop" using KYB struts. Has anyone had a issue with a drop more then 1.3 with KYB struts?????

P.S. I plan on getting Tien H-techs (1.6-front, 1 Rear)

 

I would get new rims before the drop. As for the drop.. I am a Coilover fan. it is not that much more expensive after new struts and springs. I think the KSports are still in the GD for $740 shipped.

 

i think it looks worse when you get wheels before a drop...just my opinion though...
about the h-techs on KYB's, i dont think it would be that big of a deal...triple8sol has s-techs on his KYB's and as far as i know, they've been fine..(in case you didn't know, the s-techs are lower than h..) here is his cardomain: http://www.cardomain.com/id/triple8sol

 

My opinion too... a car with bigger rims that isn't droped looks worse than it did stock. It is true that rims make the biggest difference looks wise, but only if the car doesn't have the nasty wheel gap like ours do.

 

I was thinking more towards stock 17's... I just really dont like the ones on there now.

 

I didn't think it would make that big of a difference, If triple is riding on S-techs then I got nothing to worry about. Now to figure out where to get them from the cheapest
