PowerTech 1012
PowerTech 1012
Im thinking about getting the powertech 1012, If i do should i let the shop make the b-pipe or will it fit on any aftermarket b-pipe.. I guess what im asking is how will I get it on with out cutting off my factory muffler
well its not really the b-pipe that you would be cutting into. Our stock muffler has a seperate flange that connects to the b-pipe so the muffler has its own piping. I guess you can get an exhaust shop to fab up a pip that will go over the rear axle beam. If you can, maybe just find a used exhaust in the forsale forum and chop that up.
I just removed the PT1012 after it's been on the car for 2 years +, I just couldn't bear the sound anymore, I already had the Cattman Y & B-Pipe and resonator. I finally bought the Cattman muffler to complete the car, way much better than the PT muffler and the sound is excellent.
