Time delay switch-off control on 2k1 GXE?
Hi ppl does anyone if 2k1 GXE has time delay switch-off control? How long my it's going to take before they turn off if i leave the key in the ignition lock and leave lights in AUTO position?
Thanks.

umm.......they are not time delayed, cuz you have the key in the switch. Auto only works when it's dark outside and your key in on position with the stalk switch to auto. There's a light sensor that can tell from night and day. You need to read your owner's manual if you have one.

I believe the '00-'01's do not have a variable time delay like the '02-'03's. When the headlight stalk is left in the "ON" position after the car is shut off, the lights go OUT immediately as soon as the driver's door is opened. Now, this can be modified to turn off with the "battery saver" by splicing with one of the other doors like the rear doors. I believe there is a writeup in one of the "stickys" on this.
