An Irragi alt will likley cost $250+...not sure about the OEM ones, though. The stealership may put a super high markup on them.

you're in brooklyn. my suggestion is go to advanced auto right off the grand central near shea stadium (right by the junkyards). and to be honest with you, whatever pepboys, R&S, autobarn, etc.... dont' have in stock, they order from this place. i dotn' remember the price i paid for the alt. for my 3rd gen. but it did include core swap and i did have a 3 year warranty on it. which did help cause it did die on me. i had also gotten another warranty for a pulsar i used to own and that rebuilt alt. lasted quite a long time.

good luck.

Mine just died and I got it covered by my extended warranty which was awesome but apparently when you buy a used car the warranty needs to be switched in the first month so I had it repaired under the other guys name and my dad said the guy was his step son lol. I hope its not a problem for future repairs. Goodluck with a good price
