Stupid DDE's Ballast

Ok just blew the passenger side ballast for my DDE's angel eyes, i remember a thread about a different ballast, AND I DID SEARCH FOR IT GUYS, but it must have been titled something else, well anyway, do you thick i should call up the manufacturer and get a replacement or do something different? lemme know homies

it was from those guys, you needed one ballast per ring...just cant remember which one...sorry
supposedly it makes the rings brighter too, so you may think about buyin four, that way all the rings are equally bright and if one goes you only have to replace one at a time in the future...

its not a ballast it is a inverter, 2 different things....

google CCFL & inverter and you will find many cheap replacements, you can probably find a inverter w/ a 12V input to fire both rings for around $5. if you do a decent search

This is what you need to do. I've had tons of these go out until i figured out that water was getting into them. Seal them as soon as you get it with silicone but i found it best to use waterproof shower caulk from home depot. after i did that i havent had a "ballast" blow since then and that was over a year ago.

Awesome idea bro, I figured thats what happened, I talked 2 Matt and he said no problem, just send 10 bucks for shipping and handling ad a new ballast will be on its way, NOT UNTIL TUESDAY THOUGH stupid Memorial Day weekend lol just kiddin but thanks for all your help!!!
