We all(well,us young ones really)know how the bose system rattles when in full bass....i have solved the problem to an extent, there is still rattling but only if u try to hear it(like me,im such a picky fool when it comes to Maxi).....the rattling had become really noticeable, and i couldn't bear my friend tellin me "ur sh*t rattles", especially since i payed a good 8-900 for it. I unleashed a fury in the backseat of my car while tryin to find the problem, only to notice that the backseat was loose. If ur bose system rattles very noticeably,go in the back of ur car,and see if u can pull down a seat(u know, the seats that go down for more trunk space) easily....if u can, then just slam it back,it takes a little harder push to be connected perfectly...make sure its connected by trying to pull it back again,if it opens again, then just push it harder(nothing will break, dont worry).......ur bose system should now be a lot sweeter.......

P.S if this only happened to me,tell me,if i actually helped u out,tell me too.......and be thankful...

I fixed my rattling woe's also. Mine was not the seat though.

What I did was remove to speaker grill. I slightly lifted up the deck and behind the speaker near the rear window, I saw a black wire connected by a grey plastic connector to another black wire. The plastic connector had no foam insulation or any padding. This was causing my system to rattle. I did the cheap-O way out and tucked in a small cotton cloth and dampen the vibration. It work but when I removed the speaker grill, I lost a clip to hold the grill in place The grill moves in place so I will have to buy another one.
