VIS carbon fiber hood fitting...

Just replaced my stock hood with that of the VIS Racing Carbon Fiber one. Im having some issues with fitting. The hood doesnt latch all the way. It latches on the first lock. But not the final lock that u unlatch from inside the car. So i used hoodpins on the sides to help keep it down. The problem is that there is a gap between the center of the hood and the grille now since it wont latch. Anyone have any idea on how i can fix this? or if its a known issue? Thanks

Yes. you have to adjust the latch and move it down so the hood will then close tighter.

if you let it down with some force, it latches...i had the same problem, couldnt find where it adjusts though. i thougt it would adjust due to that TSB about the hood being "loose", but couldnt find any bolt or adjuster on the latch to move it up or down. i also had to drill my brackets out a little to shift the whole hood to the passengers side a little.

oke so to confirm. i have to adjust the latch on the car and not on the hood? how do i go about adjusting that? i see there is 3 bolts that i should take off and then procede and lower the latch? the latch that locks the hood looks like its welded on or something, no screw holds it in place
