I am wondering, why would you install a PS2 or PS1 or any sort of video game system in your car? I really don't mean to try and offend anyone, I am just curious about the motivation of it all. Do you guys travel alot with kids? I know I am a lover of video games, but I would rather play it on my TV kicking back on my couch. I don't want to **** anyone off, but I am curious.

PS2 will play DVD's in your car!! Thats why.
Its cheaper than a DVD in dash player and you
can play video games too...

I have a PSOne and my girlfriend has kids so I was thinking the same thing about some kind of setup in the car. There are different ways to go about it:

1) Top-mounted drop-down LCD setup. But this would only work for cars with no sun/moon roofs. Also, the wiring to the game player would be a ***** and would probably look kinda ghetto.

2) Get those cheezy back-pack looking things with the built-in LCD screen, strap it on the back of a front seat or between the two front seats, and stick your game player in there. Check out www.videoonthego.com for lots of choices in screen sizes.

3) Get an LCD screen from InterAct that plugs right into the PSOne and let the kids have a blast on their own back there. The rectangular 4" version from InterAct is the best out there and it includes a car adapter. They're coming out with a 5" screen too later this month.

For a PS2, you'd probably want to go with option number 2. But a PS2 setup would actually be cool because the folks in the back seat can watch DVD movies. And anything like that to keep the kids' eyes and minds occupied is a godsend.

I take alot of road trips and when I travel with friends it a form of entertainment. Besides this I am working with *plug* THE NO. 1 CAR STEREO SHOP IN MEMPHIS, AUTORADIO, SHOUTS OUT TO DARRYL, QUINCY, RAY AND BOBBY *unplug* to make my car a show vehicle. Other than that I am the no. 1 stunna!
