cargo net

does anyone know of a better way to hang the cargo net so that it actually functions?

The cargo net just plain useless. It doesn't lay flat enough to secure anything.

I keep mine folded in half with all 4 of the top clips attached to the anchors at the veryt back of the trunk. This allows for the cargo net to be used as a makeshift bag. Works great for me.

I made my own so that it can actually hold things in it. I will take some pics after work and publish them...

OK, here is my home made one. I bought a cargo net and a few hooks and made it fit...

Most cargo nets that you buy aftermarket come with mounting hardware. I reused the OEM hooks things that were already in place. Do you have the net? I could just send you the hooks that came with my net. How many do you need?

Speaking of which, the reason I bought aftermarket one was when I got the car it did not have the net so I went and bought it. A few months later I opened the jack compartment and found the OEM net there still in original unopened package (I got the car used). I tried the new net but I liked my set up better and kept it the way I made it...

Forgot to mention there are 2 hooks on the each side towards the bumper, of which one sits higher and to towards the fenders and the other lower and towards the middle. The lower ones do now seem to play much role in my set up...
