Triple Gauge Pod for Passenger Side Pillar???
has anyone seen or know of any company that makes a triple gauge pod for the passenger side pillar just like the one sold by customenterprise for the drives side? i'm getting more gauges, but don't know where to install them. any ideas? thanks ahead of time for any help!
Gauges on the passenger side?
1) What additional gauges do you need ontop of the A Pillar on the driver's side?
2) How in the world would you even see them on the other side of the car?
3) How safe do you think that would actually be?

I think what the man is looking for is a reasonable alternative. How about you put guages in that little slot below your radio? I've just got a useless shelf down there. I do agree that guages waaaaaaaay over there won't help very much.
importuner - there is nothing wrong with doing it "for looks," as long as you admit that's what it's for.....even the boosted maximas really have no need for more than 2 or 3 additional gauges, much less 6. If you want to do it for looks...that's just fine.

ive got a triple pod for the passenger pillar, but i just use them for change purses. nickels, dimes and quarters- respectively. i would have put another triple on the driver side, but in all seriousness- who keeps track of pennies anyway.
just get a single din and a metra kit, grab some abs plastic and a dremel. done deal. make sure you get a wideband o2 in there, cuz a/f on a 01 with bolt ons is really key to breaking 14s.

you guys are too funny. cant a guy just have an imagination. i saw it done once and just thought i'd ask if anyone has seen one for the max. that's all. wasn't actually considering it, but anyway. i'm about 3 months away from ordering a stillen sc kit so i'm getting everything ready. gauges, nitrous, fp, fpr, safc2, etc, etc. but thanks for all the really NICE remarks.
You should be able to find the pods pretty easily. Use Google and include right hand drive in your search. Find a shop or catalog that sells products in Japan or Europe. We aren't the only ones who modify cars. Our passenger side is their drivers side.
Put as many gauges as you like. You can also get gauge clusters to mount on the center of your dash. You may also be able to unplug and remove them when you aren't racing.

Here, do this as well, that way with gauges on both pillars and on the center console, you can have at least 9 if ya want...
