Well in the process of replacing my shocks and springs today the axle came out of the transmission and alot of transmission fluid came out of the tranny. after we replaced the shock and spring on that given side we pushed the axle back into the tranny...and now when we try to put more tranny fluid into the transmission it just keeps leaking out of the tranny were the axle goes in....if anyone could please tell me what is wrong or what i need to do to fix this problem it would be greatly appeciated..

I did the same thing before on my 02 max.... all I did was put it back in and fitted the boot back in, thats all...

I don't think thats your tranny leaking though, its prob lots of axle grease not tranny oil...

 

well the tranny has no fluid...so im tryin to put more in and it keeps leakin and theres still no fluid in the tranny. its all over the ground again....

 

that means you need a new seal where the axle goes in to the tranny

or maybe the topic died almost a month ago since the person that started it hasnt posted. why would you bring the tread back to say that you dont know? explain to me how tranny fluid leaking is a "wiring thing"
