Passenger seat creaks...

Whenever no one is sitting in the passenger seat, I can hear a creaking noise everytime I go over a rough patch on the road. It sounds something like 2 peices of leather rubbing against each other..I've tried putting extra conditioner on that seat but that doesnt help. Anyone go through this issue? Could it be the heater element in the seat vibrating against the seat?

My seat makes a "creak" sound because the seatbelt clip (the male piece) is rubbing on the leather. It may be that...

checked that...it wasnt that. I wraped the seat belt clip and the seat belt with a cloth and drove around and the creak is definetly from the seat itself.

I have the same exact noice in my 2001 Maxima (leather seats) it is definately the seats.

Solution#1. I cut out a piece of cardboard about 1 inch width and as long as the seat in width. (makes sense?) and stuck it between the bottom seat and the back piece. Precisely between the two pieces of leather that rub and make the noice. It works, but sometimes the piece of cardboard either falls out from the back or sticks from the front.

Solution#2. is to set the back piece of the seat lower (you knowe like for sleeping or something) seems to work as well.

BTW: this is a funny post. I mean I personally hate hate hate the squiqing and rattling in my 2001 Max. I also hated it in my 95 and my 91. What can you do it's a Maxima and for under $30,000 brand new and nicely equipped it's a good deal.
