For those of you that were at the CFMA meet you know about the water probelm i have been having in my headlights. This is a post to see if enyone else has had that and what they did to correct it. I opened the headlights up to do the AE conversion and sealed them back up. About a week agao after a typical rainstorm in florida, i has a steam machine in the headlight and turnsignal. SO i opened it and dried the water then resealed it with new silicone. Yet, yesterday it rained and i had water in it again. Has anyone else had this probelm with their headlights and what did you do to fix it?

For all those with the projector retro did you get water in the headlight after it was opened.

 

All that i can say is that the sealant you are using isnt good enough or wasnt applied in the right locations.

 

with how many do the retro i find it hard to belive that noone has had an issue like this.

 

Try using a different sealant the next time it happens. Or ask other people who have done it what type of sealant they used.
