My internal lights seem dimmer than usual when I turn off the car. I just replaced the battery last winter, so I am guessing that's not it. I also am finding the blue hi beam indicator is on occasionally when the highs are not on. Any suggesstions would be appreciated.

 

what year max?
if you replaced the battery and the lights are still dim it is most likely the alternator. you didnt give us any background but that could be why your battery went out

2000 max SE, black, standard....116K. put a die hard gold in it last christmas. No upgrades other than usual maintenance. (plugs, oil change, etc)

 

still thinking it is probably the alternator especially since you have all those miles
