2000 Fog Light Install

Can anyone point me to a how-to for this? The only one I've found is no longer available. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the foglight assembly out. Thanx.

Thanks, but already have read it. 2002 fogs are not the same as 2000. There's a phillips screw on the underside of it that I have taken out, but there are also two white-plastic things that seem to be holding the housing in place, and I just can't figure out how to get them out. Anyone?

my foglights are held in only by one screw on the bottom and then you have to push it out. i dont know anything about white plastic things.

you have to remove that screw on the bottom and stick a screw driver on one of the white plastic tabs on the top and push them out.

Put one hand in front of the light when pushing on the tab because it might pop out, fall on the ground and do some damage.

Prolumen, Xtec are favored by BMW forums, but McCulloch on eBay are OK too.

Does anyone have, or could anyone point me to a picture of the back of one of these 00-01 foglights? I've got an 03 that I want to HID, but these glass lenses break to easily. I want to put the older plastic ones in. I know they don't mount exactly the same, but I'm trying to see how much trouble it would be to mod them.

Doesn't your 2002 Maxima already have HID in the low beams?

WhatRuOn:

For an 02-03:
http://www.courtesyparts.com/instruc...00002_pg1.html
For an 00-01:
http://www.courtesyparts.com/instruc...ghtkit_01.html

There are lots of useful things on that site. Start here and just look around, especially at the bottom of the page:
http://www.courtesyparts.com/secondtier_a33.html

ZMBPHD:
Are you talking about just replacing the bulb? If so, and if you are talking about just one, then yes, you can get them much cheaper. Look on the parts page (see Sticky) and check a few of those sites, or see what kind of a price DAVEB will give you.

A quick search shows a replacement single bulb (4300k stock) for $109 at:
http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?...ATS&Category=5
but some of those other places are probably cheaper.
