Metal to metal noise left front wheel.Help.

It is a very loud noise as if something is rubbing against the rotor. I checked the brake pads and they are fine, nothing metal stuck in them. The noise is present at all speeds and the noise pitch doesnt change when i apply brakes. What could it be ?

Either that or it could be a bad wheel baring.

i have the same issue but in the back wheels, both of them. ive figured out that it is definitely caused (on my car at least) by the pads rubbing against the built up rust on the rotor. I sanded away the rust, and the sound got less noticable, but its still there, not nearly as bad though
