Apparently the 5th gens who entered got robbed by a nearly stock 3.5 Maxima, not even rims or a drop. Stillen kit, intake and an fstb. Hahaha...sounds like a joke gone wrong.

Either way, NYC cleaned up the awards and we deserved that 5th gen trophy too.

Hey, man...Manny won...he has the SICKEST audio setup in a Max on these firums...PERIOD. His car is very tasteful and has spent more $$$ on his audio then most people have on all of their car mods combined. He did deserve to win.

Do you have links of this. All the pictures I saw were of the outside of the cars.

Not my fault there were more SE-R and GT-R badges than one could count
Non sponsored cars with Nismo decals and banners looking real 'pretty' .... I guess in my case less was more. A 72k mile /3yr old car that you could eat off - the only CLEAN Super Black one there built for Sq competition- i wasn't there for show, but took it...I was surprised myself.
I just payed my $5 to contribute to the cause(children's hospital)

Fellas....Too much, overkill is a bad thang.....I felt there were very nice cars there, lots of nice rims. But it was ' OVERALL" judged....some were lacking in other depts. Reality is EVERY 5th genner there thought his car was better than the next- there will always be haters....

Anyways i had lots of fun, nice meeting some of you and checking out the rides.

I completely overslept...wanted to go to this so bad but when you stay out at Sandbar until 3am..oversleeping is inevitable. Any idea on when another NJ or Tri-State Area meet is going to be? I wanted to go so bad.

For all people that think judging was unfair, PLEASE give me your LEGITIMENT complaints. I REALLY would love to hear this.

Corey, two of his colleagues as well as myself were judges. There was no biased determination in any way shape or form.

Every car had intakes, exhaust, kits, etc. So to me as well as the other judges theyre all the same. Mannys car had 70K+ miles on it and was cleaner than some of the 6th gens. Aside from the the audio was top notch. How many others can put down 8" mids in their doors? That in itself is a mod thats not common among all the other vehicles.

Like I said I would absolutely Love to hear the complaints. If your car was entered and you didnt feel like opening the hood, trunk, doors, etc, then I guess thats on you. It wasnt my job to go through the cars without the owner present and opening for me. I have been a judge for many events in the past and I do judge quite fairly.

You 5,000-post champions hate answering the Newbie's questions. No idea on when the next meet around the tri-state area will be or what?

It has nothing to do with post count, or your newb status. If there isnt an answer, then we simply dont post.

Next time Ill be sure to give you the generic "I dont know"

No, anyone whom has been a member of the boards for a year or so groans at the sight of a question that can easily be answered through a small degree of research.

DID YOU TRY LOOKING HERE, N00B?

...next time, don't be so fired up to throw an e-tantrum when your question is not answered immediatley.
