Installed the FC intake, but having one problem

I installed the intake tonight, and it sounds great, and I definitely feel some performance increase, but I was driving down the road and I was slowing down, and the car just died on me, I started it up and it ran fine and I kept going. It has done this twice. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is.

air filter is brand new. K&N. Just opened it today. My guess is that everything isn't tight, but I wanted to see if it could be something else. For the record, it sounds incredible. And I can definitely feel a power increase. Obviously, no dyno, but Normally when I redline it in first and shift into second, my tires will chirp, now the spin for a good couple seconds before getting traction again.

It is running fine as of this morning, I tightened some stuff down, and it hasn't died yet. I am still watching it though.

mostlikely the MAF, replace it & you'll see an improvment in your pick up & sound

One more thing, can the 350z MAF work in our cars? I don't remember.
