Question about intake midpipes...(breather tubes)

Ok. A few months back, I bought a Frankencar midpipe from JDMLIFE for $50. When I got the midpipe I noticed it didn't have a breather tube sticking out of it. I didn't think much of it, I thought maybe it's supposed to be that way for us 3.0s.

But it isn't. I noticed that every midpipe has a breather tube coming out of it...so now I find myself wondering why this midpipe was completely flat. Also, I just picked up a Berk Intake (thanks to 4EVAMAX) and its midpipe is very thin feeling, and not as thick and sturdy as the other one I bought from JDM - does it matter what the midpipe is made out of for performance sake?

Just install the "supposed" Frankencar mid-pipe as normal, and buy a breather valve filter and pop it onto the outlet off the engine.

...Or you could very easily drill and tap in a fitting on the midpipe to allow for the breather tube.

Yeah, see...this midpipe came with a baby-cone breather filter. I'm guessing that's why it came with it. Hmm...anybdoy know if FC produced two different versions of the intake?

you mightve bought the wrong midpipe. my friend arnaud has a 4th gen and frankencar sent him a 5th gen intake, they sent him the right one the 2nd time but he never sent back the 5th gen intake so he just gave it to me for free. so u could have the 4th gen intake possibly, something to look into.
