exothermic = heat production
sounds like my ochem teacher, just with a lot of spelling errors hahaha

i don't know about you, but i'd still be fishy. radical chemistry is still one of the big grey areas in chemistry....

I'm gonna try this. I'm getting 26-27 on the freeway going 70-80mph. If I could get to 30mpg, I'd be thrilled.

I suspect that the increases that some people have seen are mainly due to the acetone cleaning up the fuel system. If you use good gas, maintain your car, and use techron cleaner regularly, I kinda doubt that you would see much of an increase.

i don't use it regularly and i really doubt it makes that much of a difference. honestly, if you drive all highway going 60~75mph, you'll probably get the best milage you've ever gotten

Took the words right out of my mouth! I just ran across an article in Popular Science that explains why some people actually see real mpg differences with bogus mileage boosting products like the Tornado or acetone. The answer, as so succinctly illustrated here, is that the improvements result from behavior changes, not by any mysterious scientific breakthroughs. It's a self-fulfilling prophesy: if a driver believes a product will yield better mileage, he/she will drive more conservatively to realize those benefits, and voila better mileage. It's just like a placebo effect. Now I know why the website doesn't provide any data and just keeps insisting that drivers try it for themselves.
