Loud ticking...

While im accelerating in 3rd gear and take my foot off the gas to idle i hear a loud ticking clackling sound coming from the engine. What is wrong wit my carrrr..

do you use premium gas? I've heard people with the same problem using regular unleaded.

yup, sounds like engine knock. Use a higher octane gas and see what happens...

I hear the loud ticking when pressing in the clutch also, I use 93 octane gas.

man i had/have that no matter what gas I use. I used to get it when I took my foot on and off the gas. Mine just went away soem how.
