I can only talk about my own experience, I have D2 coilover on my max and the bar was scraping to much for my taste. It make a big difference in the handling though, if you have a FSTB and LTB STAGE 2 you will definitely feel the difference. On my max with the D2 and the LTB2, I had only 2" of ground clearance. The road are like 1920 trails overhere so it is one of the reason the LTB2 was scrapping regularly. If you dont have coilover than the LTB2 is a great add on, you wont regret it, I mean I love the bar but I had no other choice than remove it, but I'm going to try to modify it and see if I can regain 2" of ground clearance.

Wow, they are marking it up. You can get it cheaper directly from matt. www.mattblehm.com. I got the stage1 bar along with Progress RSB a few weeks ago, and it makes a difference. I dont know what how much difference exactly since it put both front and back ltbs at the same time, but its a very nice change in handling if you dont have anything now. I wish i had gotten the stage 2 bar from matt, seems like it would stiffen up the front a lot better than just the stage1 ltb.

I hear you man, but I'm shure it's possible to modify the LTB2 to accomodate the additional drop from coilover or S-tein and other drop spring. Dont get me wrong the LTB2 is nicely design and well made. If your car is stock or near stock then there is no problem, the bar shouldn't scrape or very little maybe sometimes on a bigger pothholes. The LTB2 was on my car for about 2-3 weeks, with the D2, RSB, FSTB & ES bushing on, man this car was on rails.

If you put Matt's website side-by-side, they are the same price minus shiping cost which may be variable. Therefore, same product, and maybe Matt has some sort of business ties with this company to sell his products.

is it true that the LTB stage II may be one of the most effective mod to reduce our wheel hops? that's word of mouth, so somebody clear this up, please.

It looks exactly like the blemco stage 2 LTB. I put one on my 02 after putting on a RSB, FSTB, and Tokico Blues with the stock SE springs. Made a big improvement. I have had no problems with ground clearance at stock ride height.

My first mod was the FSTB and to me that made a world of difference tightening the front end. When I put on the LTB, though it might have tightened the lower part of the front end, I personally did not feel that the improvement was as dramatic. Maybe if I had installed the LTB first and then the FSTB, things would be reversed; don't know.
