Window Problem

WTF. I went out to lunch today put the front windows down. Then when i went to put them up all went up except the passenger side. I can hear it make noise when i push the button but it won't roll up. any suggestions....

It may be the window motor going bad for what it sounds like. Good luck with it though.

its prolly the window motor my rear drivers side window don't go up and down cuz the motor fuked up. It suks but ive heard this is a common problem wit maximas

F*ck. a 2003 with a broken motor. I hope thats not the problem cause list price for a new motor is like 200.00 dollars....I hope its just the relay or something small......

If you hear the motor running, I doubt it's the relay. It might be something simple like somthing caught in the track. Our windows have the anti-pinch feature that makes it automatically go down if it senses something in its way.

Ill check but it doesnt move at all. i thought the anti pinch feature only worked when the window was rolling up and sensed something in the way

The track has disengaged itself from the motor, take it in or open the door up and make sure everything is still attached. A FSM will help greatly with this

I'd still get it checked, it could be a symptom of a more serious problem.

I already have an appointment with nissan but i am sure they're gonna say they can't duplicate the problem and it will be a wasted trip..........

I had the same problem once and they replaced my window motor, luckily it was under warranty
