Tokico Blues are pretty much just as good as stock shocks. Get yourself some Illuminas and you will not have any issues.

how about some other suspension components like an RSB and LTB......springs alone will not make the car handle great. Neither will your FSTB.

tokico's like blackbird said are oem replacements pretty much. They arent made to handle much of a drop, but i dont see why H&R's give you so much bounce. I know people have them on with their stock struts and they say the ride is like stock.

I've ridden in soonerfan's 2k2 with Blues/H&R, and the ride feels similar to mine with Maxspeeds/Illuminas. Definitely not bouncy though...

just get JICs or TEIN coilovers. ride is way better than any spring/shock combo plus you can slam the **** out of your ride

You, sir, are on crack....there is no way, shape, or form in which any coilovers (JIC, Tein, D2, etc) have a "better ride" or more comfortable ride than Maxspeeds/H&R's with Illuminas.

JIC FLTa2s ride remarkably well (with 10/8 F/r springs) but they do compromise some of the plushness of springs/struts for all out handling.

I'm not saying coilovers don't ride okay, I'm just saying that in general:

ride = comfort (plushness)

handling = um...handling

the guy is coming off of teins, and if those are too stiff for him, I doubt any other coilover would be any more comfortable.

Teins are 7/5 aka stock SE spring rates. the damping must have been set incorrectly on them.

I've had my Teins + Blues for 40k miles now. No bouncing or handling issues whatsoever. You might just have a bad set of Blues.

Going to lower mine.
Read about so many problems, don't know.
How is your ride?
Ground clearance?

on crack, no, but ride is subjective to some people. I love the way my car rides on JICs and people who have driven my car were quite surprised as to how smooth they felt.

Don't pay for installation....come to my house, bring a 6 or 12 pack (corona or something polish) and I'll do it. I've dropped 5 cars already.
