Worst Luck With Suspensions
so after 2 year of battleing the TEINS i finally bought H&R and Tokico blues...2 weeks later the car drive like a boat...all 4shocks especiall the rear garbage..the car bounces so much its unbelievable....has this happened to anyone...i do know they are under warranty but i dont feel like paying for the installation again if they are going to go bad...i seriously almost traded my car in ....is there any hope ?

tokico's like blackbird said are oem replacements pretty much. They arent made to handle much of a drop, but i dont see why H&R's give you so much bounce. I know people have them on with their stock struts and they say the ride is like stock.

ride = comfort (plushness)
handling = um...handling
the guy is coming off of teins, and if those are too stiff for him, I doubt any other coilover would be any more comfortable.

Teins are 7/5 aka stock SE spring rates. the damping must have been set incorrectly on them.

How is your ride?

on crack, no, but ride is subjective to some people. I love the way my car rides on JICs and people who have driven my car were quite surprised as to how smooth they felt.

hey i think i have this same problem with my KYB. how exactly do you know if they are bad. i had really sloppy handleing w/ a full car and it doesnt seem the same and as tight. not sure if its all in my head tho. car doesnt bounce very bad. had the AGX for almost 2 years and up until now loved them.
