installed new oil catch can

so i got this ebay oil catch can, and i just put it on, installation was pretty easy, but the most important thing was when i looked inside the thing, there was no baffle seperating the inlet from the outlet, so i don't think it'll work too well, we'll see tho, only time can tell. both the inlet and outlet tubes are clear so i'll be able to see if any blowby gets sucked into the intake manifold. if so then that thing is a peice of junk.

that's what it looks like

for any of you that are considering the same oil catch can i got, i advise you do NOT use the hose it came it, that thing is a peice of junk, it gets soft when it's hot and it flattens out and it gets stuck shut...

the purpose of having a catch can is cuz it's cool.. and it also prevents your car from recirculating the blow by into the engine through the intake manifold. instead of letting the engine burn off these oil vapors, you trap it in a can.

kevlo, i think i'de have more of that within' a week.. you must drive on the highway alot more than u do in traffic.

mingo,
I've seen that alot of people stuff the ebay catch cans with steel wool to create a ghetto baffle in them....though that worries me a bit having steel wool in a place that could theoretically get into my engine somehow
