How to install the AE Kit?

I am planning on purchasing the Anniversary Edition Kit and was wondering if anyone knows how to actually put it on. I hear that it's double sided tape, but not positive.

Is it a simple do it yourself job or should I take it to the Nissan Dealer?

Thanks

it's double sided tape and they also have clips. You can do it yourself if you know what you're doing. Don't bring it to the dealership, just bring it to a body shop if you need it done professionally.

Front end and back end requires drilling into the bumper, you need to drill out some holes so that the bolts that stick out of the lip can go through. Then remove the double sided tape and install 10mm nuts on the bolts that are part of the lip. Those bolts hold the lip down to the bumper really secure. I can't say how the sides are mounted since I never had em. But I did have a AE front lip spoiler on my Maxima few years back. When you buy the kit NEW it will come with a template as to where to drill to get the best fit, its very eassy to do if you are patient.

hehe the way it sounds, with the drilling...it looks pretty tough.
i've never used a drill in my life...

how much do you think it would cost to have a shop do it, just guestimating?

And oh yeah, I was just wondering, how strong do these kits hold? Will they be firmly stuck on or fall off after a while. I'm worried because here in NY there are really bad winters.

Thanks for your reply.

Template is a little off, don't waste your money. Better use sth like toothpaste to mark the holes and drill it.
