PIAAs blew.

Well, seeing as how this is a highly contested issue...I figured I'd chime in and say that after one year, my passenger side PIAA burned out and so did my TIDo driver's side fog light. Wonderful!

Arrgggh.

Welcome to the club. It's the price we pay for the looks. I just installed the PIAA Super Plasma GT-X's and I don't really like them. The Original Super Plasmas matched my HIDS better.

GT-X still burning since February. I try not to use them that often. They burned out on my friends WRX after 6mos - he kept his on all the time.

I seriously suggest just getting cheap eBay bulbs. All it is is a blue tinted bulb, how much difference can there be? My $8 (total with shipping) H3 bulbs look the same as Piaas.

I been using Piaa Xtreme White H4 headlight bulbs and so far so good. It's been 8 months since I put them in my car. Did you guys make sure not to touch the bulbs prior to installing them?

Give it another 4 months and then ask yourself that question. 1 year is the average lifespan of these bulbs.

Out of many many sets I've owned, only 1 bulb burned out within a year. The rest lasted well over few years and the rest just kept shinning

Are there hid kits available for the fogs? Also is there any kind of replacement for the glass like lexan?

Any H3 HID kit would fit in the fogs. But I think the Helio ones fit perfectly, while some other bulbs need a little grinding of the base to fit.

Helios micro kit would fit w/out any modding. Any other H3 kits will need for you to use dremel
