Help with HID bulb replacement
My left low-beam bulb went out. I called the dealer and sure enough they want $280 for 1 HID bulb. No $$ for that at the moment (getting married in a month).
Went to Autozone last night, purchased what I thought was a replacement, but didn't feel too good since the guy helping me out seem confused. It wasn't the replacement bulb. Anyway...
Do you guys know of a direct replacement for the HID-D2R? Any auto parts store carry the replacement bulb? I just need something for now, I will buy the HID bulb after I get back from honeymoon.
Any help would be appreciated.

i don't think you can get any replacement bulbs other than those d2r based ones...don't ever buy hid bulbs from dealer...they're a rip off lol
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5000K...91412140QQrdZ1
you can try those...the 5000k ones might work since the stock bulb is already colorshifted to more whiter color, the 5000k will match it better.
good luck.

Cheap altnernative, they won't last as long as your OEM ones, but relatively low price for two bulbs.

Since I can't PM anyone...
Just found that what I have in my car is the Philips D2R 35W (85126). Since my wife is already on my *** about the money i just dumped into it with oil change, struts, and O2 sensors...what is a good cheap alternative that will match close enough to the other side (using the same bulb). Same name at yahoo for PM emails since i have no clue why I have no permissions to PM anyone else.
Thanks!
Thanks!
