I have a slight problem..

I dropped the clutch in at approx 4K rpm from a standstill.. the wheel hop I got was quite extensive. (I know not the smartest thing to do)

At this point the cars acceleration is a bit worse than before.

I am trying to think of reasons why.. so far I have:

1) Clutch - doesn't feel like it's slipping
2) Engine Damage - idles fine/revs correctly
3) axles/transmission - still smooth
4) ECU confused - haven't reset it yet.. no flags

Anyone have any ideas?

I wonder if you have a broken motor mount?

i had it on my 01 5 speed too. once i wore the tires down it stopped. i think it's from the grip the tires get when they are new, once you get a few thou on them they will be ok.

yup yup...

I have an OEM Toyo alittle out of round on the front. it only vibrates at 90+ so no big deal. but the tire shop showed me when I went to get them rebalanced
