175 mph in a convertible? Don't think so...not unless it's a Ferrari F3555 spyder (?)

If the car's not an M3 lookalike, then it's a hoax

Hmmm

Sounds kinda fishy to me. It's still a nice looking car though. Wouldn't mind just taking the rims =)

i sent out an email asking what year the car is... we'll see what they answer... even if its a 1995 M3 convertible its still cheap... even if its a 1995 325 Convertible its a good price especially considering the rims and the body kit...

The photo of the car is a professional shot done for a French/European magazine called Option Auto. Translating their website at www.optionauto.com shows that the magazine is geared towards tuning of cars. The fact that this car appeared in the magazine makes me feel that this guy is full of crap. A stock BMW convertible for this price would be a good find, but with just the changes to the car that are visible, I find it hard to believe the car in the photo is the one for sale. But that’s just my opinion though. Unfortunately I could not find this car on the magazines website. I'll be curious to see if this person responds to your e-mail.

it probably is BS, look at his/her yahoo profile.

This person is basically giving a supercharged M3 away for less than a stock pre-owned maxima. yeah right

BS

If you read the description above the car it says "tan leather". That's the lightest tan I've ever seen, almost looks white, oops IT IS!

I was thinking the same thing. Divorce approaching or past. Trying to dump the vehicle to screw the ex. She sells it for $12K and he gets $6 in the settlement...just to **** him off. If she responds to anybody, post the info. I am flying to DC on Monday and would love to take a look at this thing...if its really an '01 M3 Convertible, I'll buy the damn thing for $12.5.

In all reality, I'm sure it a load of crap.

That's definitely not a picture of her car since it's a magazine print. Salvaged? Drug-dealer's car? Go check it out when you're in DC Michael.
