I have a friend that works down at Aamco in Charlotte, and he said he could hook me up on the labor part if I wanted to swap out my auto for a stick (I've been whining about my auto a bit). Does anyone know how much the tranny itself would cost if I were to purchase it from Nissan? I'm trying to keep it as much Nissan parts as possible. If not, what about something non-Nissan? He said he would look for me, but I wanted some experienced Maxima input too.
Thanks!

I would rather spend the money on mods.....you can even upgrade your auto by getting a new TC, VB mod, and other stuff to make it a lot faster.

yeah....

that's kinda what I was figuring. Not having to worry about the labor costs would help, but I think with the TC and someday down the road, a supercharger, I'll be more than fast enough for my tastes. Not that I'm not now...walked all over an eclipse GS tonight...least he didn't throw his drink at me...
