i didnt drive my max for 6 weeks
You just probably drove another car for a while insead of a maxima, so you got use to it's different strearing, and when jumped back in the Max it's seemed stiffer compare to the other car. Well was that how it was???

a lot of cars have a much more loose feel in the steering and you may have just gotten used to that....i wouldn't worry about it...

She has a five speed, I kept forgetting to downshift and almost stalled five million times. Then I got back into my auto max... I kept on reaching for the shifter to shift....
The maxima has a much tighter feel (especially after the D2's) than many cars, I felt like the eclipse was all over the place compared to my max.
