and now it seems like the steering is really stiff??? what do u guys think it could be????

 

You expecting something to be wrong....I wouldn't worry....I do the samething when evey I drive rough or let it sit for a while I always think I can hear something but its nothing....I wouldn't worry

 

You just probably drove another car for a while insead of a maxima, so you got use to it's different strearing, and when jumped back in the Max it's seemed stiffer compare to the other car. Well was that how it was???

 

a lot of cars have a much more loose feel in the steering and you may have just gotten used to that....i wouldn't worry about it...

 

I had to drive my sisters 02 eclipse around for almost a week and it felt wierd getting back into the max.... She has a five speed, I kept forgetting to downshift and almost stalled five million times. Then I got back into my auto max... I kept on reaching for the shifter to shift....

The maxima has a much tighter feel (especially after the D2's) than many cars, I felt like the eclipse was all over the place compared to my max.
