03 maxima price question

hey guys, im thinking about buying my parents 03 SE titanium off of them but there are some issues involved. it has been in several accidents, nothing major, just sheet metal damage. it was sideswipped on the highway:drivers door panel was scrapped and dented. headlights were stolen but new ones were recently put in, so there is minimal pitting. was jsut hit in the rear by a jeep, killing the rear bumper and bending the trunk frame. the front pass. fender was also dented as well. all damage as been repaired fairly well. so now i have new headlights and a brand new bumper so there are no scratches. my question is how much do you think the car is worth. it has about 95 k on it, but it is all highway miles cuz my dad is a salesman. overall, the car is in good condition. little rash on the rims, typical paint chips on the front. no leather, just bose and thats about it. anybody with an estamate please?

wow, that's a crap load of accidents...it sounds like my brother's car...lol...anyway, considering its history and mileage, i would say that a fair price would be anywhere from 10k-13k....do they owe anything on it? if not, do you think they would give you a family discount?

GBAUER had a couple of issues...the most prominent was the fact that he had to have his transmission replaced around 107k IIRC....I'd say 10k would be a pretty fair price for an '03...is the transmission slipping at all? is it in otherwise good shape? (interior) has it had all it's scheduled maintenence?

its auto, runs like new, all maintenence done on time, paint in great condition besides paint chips up front but that is with all maximas, has sunroof as well, just needs new rotors or at least refinish them

kbb has it at 11,400 in good conditon
and 10,700 for fair conditon, so im thinking about 8k due to the accidents

I'd offer them $8000. This is factoring in the accidents and the fact that they are your parents. Even though the car has high miles, it sounds like it was mostly highway miles so that's a plus. Also, throw in lawn mowing for 6 months.

I'd buy something else. Sounds like you might get killed in that bad-luck-mobile.
