that peaked my interest as well. i have a laptop that i have been running my harrison obd2 software on. i will download it when my new dell comes in next and talk to sr20den and see if it ends up being worthy.

I bought one of these a few months back for $28 and it works great.

 

Its not the same foocking thing

 

The cable is useless without the interface and the interfaces are usually mated to a specific piece of software. Not always, but most interfaces will only work with the software written for it.

 

ooops, my bad... I saw the OBD II cable and was thinking of another thread I read.

 

CRAP!! so which interface works with our cars?

That interface or cable is not going to work. It is a Consult 1 based interface pre 1996 cars. A C2 version is being worked on.
