Need help might purchase today-Unorthodox Racing Pulley

Does anyone who has the Unorthodox Racing Ultra S Crank Pulley have any problems with it? Is it worth it? I want to get it but keep hearing different views on it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

You're either not trying hard enough or you need to donate...

When you say search, do you mean flipping back through the pages or using google? Or are you talking about accessing the search on this site at the top of the screen, because no I have not donated? I’ll get back to you later on the pipe. Thanks

Flipping back through the pages, using Google, or whatever is convenient for you.

The seach function of this site is only accessible to donating members.

As for the y-pipe, I have yet to decide if I wanna sell it. Maybe only if the offers are good enough... afterall it only has 3k miles on it.

As with most cheaper bolt-on parts, UDP's do not make much of a difference alone. Done with other mods tho, they combine to help more. You will probably notice a difference with the A/C on in the summer. The lightened mass is so small(radius wise) it only makes a small horsepower difference by slighlty altering inertia.

I agree with Champ. I feel the difference with a/c on compared to before. Probably due to underdriving. But with a/c off, pretty much the same as before. Decent inexpensive mod.

I had mine installed last month and do notice that the RPMs build a bit quicker and with less effort. I never planned to get my URP but UR had the Ebay auction where I got it for $95 (w/o belts) so, I couldnt pass up on it.

As for any negative side effects, they tend to originate from a pretty vocal minority. Given my time at the track, I've yet to meet anyone who had problems with pulleys. I had pulleys on my 99 Accord and NEVER had any problems. I dont anticipate any problems with the Max neither.

At one time there were GDs for both Motostorm and Unorthodox UDPs.... if you're interested, check with Brett from Motostorm or Steve G from SCO respectively to see if those are still running...
