My new Woodview kit came today. I spent a few hours removing my old JWT kit and installing this new 3D or molded metal finish kit. When I get time this weekend, I'll create a HTML install page.

It looks much nicer than the flat Joshua Tree kit.

Looks pretty sweet! How come the radio, and climate control doesn't have trim around it? It looks kinda wierd when you have that gap in the middle.

I had to yank off my old kit. You would just apply it to the top of the GLE trim, after you prep the surface.

This kit doesn't come with those pieces. I'm not big on the full trim kits with 30 pieces. As is, I had to force myself to put the vent pieces and the top vent piece on. So this kit was just right for me. I really just wanted a 6 piece kit, but landed up installing all 9 pieces.

Paul,

It looks good. It appears to be the same kit I ordered but never installed. I like the notion of a small kit to add just the right touches. It's too bad they couldn't do something with the area between the shift surround and the upper air vents. The radio and climate controls get in the way.

Looks good!

Your old kit ...

Did you have a piece that was an overlay for the dash?
The area behind the steering wheel and below the instrument cluster is specifically where I'm interested.

Why?

Well I have the JT real alum kit installed there now, and I'm just wandering how much that adhesion promtor screwed up that black piece. If you had a piece installed there, did it clean up easy and make it look factory or what did it look like?

Thanks,

Yeah Thanks! I had my eye on this kit for a few months, but I was too chicken to order it. When I saw how good it looked in your car, I had to order it.

Re: Can you post a link to their web site?

Scooter

Woodview Direct has it for $360.

Autodash has the same Woodview kit for $225 (They processed and shipped my order quickly)

Discount Dash has the same kit for $194. (I can't speak for this company though... never ordered from them before)

Is it the

Molded plastic to look like aluminum or is it actual aluminum? I was on the website and saw two options and a difference in the color (not as bright) but saw yours and liked it a lot. Could you let me know? Thanks.

Man, I wish i had the cash to make my car look nicer! I'm still saving for the body kit! Ah well! Gotta make the exterior look more aggressive before I work with the interior. Looks very nice though!

Anyone know if they make a factory wood match kit. I own a GLE(a ceashed one sitting in my garage waiting to get fixed).
I love the factory wood, it already comes on the doors and shifeter area. I just want some molded type for the other parts where i have the JTW wood pieces on.
