Ya..i just got a 2K1 SE..and i hate those damn stone chips, so i bought a bra from Nissan for the front. It says take off and let dry when it gets wet..well i live in Florida..and during the summer it rains here just about every damn day. Is it going to ruin my paint if I dont take it off after everytime it rains?

I was told by a paint shop worker that it will have adverse affects on your paint over time if you live in a moist region of the US. I'm on the east coast...so I got rid of mine. Look in into a contoured bug guard as an alternative if you have a dark colored car. (see my sig pic for example.)

If you live in an area that is wet, then a nosemask/bra is not for you. If you leave it on, your paint will be affected. Go with the contoured bug guard that FloMax suggested, or if you have the money, go for the 3M clear mask.

Well, damned if you do, damned if you don't. I'm in Florida and leave mine on most of the time. I just try to keep a good coat of wax on it. When it is wet, I just leave on the hood part. That's where I get all of my chips. You can take off the hood part, hose it off hang it to dry and then replace the next morning.

Yeah...that's what I had to do with my bra too...it's been raining here like crazy lately.

I wanted to find some static plastic sheets to put under the bra so the crap that gets trapped under the hood bra won't scratch my paint...you think that would work? And where would I find that big of a piece of static plastic sheet?
