Sorry guys, did the search and couldn't even get any word matches at all. Does anyone here have a quick link to the instructions for programming the key fob to a 2K max? My bro' just got a used 2K1 and he bought an additional key fob that is not programmed for his car. Any help is greatly appreciated.

try this:

I bought an additional remote on Ebay and these are the instructions that came with it. However, I haven't programmed it yet because the remote was damaged. I sent it back to the seller and he is sending me another. You can pick up these additional remotes from this guy for about 10 bucks plus shipping. Mine awas $16.00 total. Pretty damn good deal considering what a dealer will charge. Good luck.

6th gen Remote programming instructions:

1. Get in & lock the doors.
2. Insert the key into the ignition 6 times within 15 seconds.
3. Hazzard lights should flash.
4. Put key back into the ignition & turn to the run position but do not start.
5. Hit the lock button on the remote.
6. Hazzards should flash.

~If additional remotes go to step #7~
~No additional remotes go to step #8~

7. Unlock and lock the doors with the lock switch on the door and go to step #5.
8. Pull key out and open the drivers door and then close it
9. It should be set.

Remember if you have more than one remote you must program them all at the same time

yea it does.... it says 6th gen, but I belive we got it from another gens fourm and it works just as good..
