The 3.5 is out of the question. I just bought the 2000 last Oct. and it is practically brand new(41,000). Plus I believe in working with what I've got. If I upgrade to anything, I'm going to get rid of my Honduhh and get the G35. This is what I am now seeing I should have done to begin with (not to hate on the Max).

No crap. That is why I'm asking what kind of trap speeds he got. Thanks for your considerate comment.

In my 2000 SE 5-speed manual, it says that the 1/4 time is 15 sec. Is this true?

I don't know why people say the 3.0 is slow. My car absolutely rips everytime it needs to. Plus it shifts harsh and quick and no other auto Max 3.0 feels *anything* like mine. And my mods are minimal too. *shrug*

You ever take it to the track, or dyno it after you advanced the timing and mods?

I don't think people are hating on 00-01 autos but the truth will set you free.(slowest maxima out there i think)

Never had the time or money to do so, but have always wanted to, though. I know my car is fast just based on some of the cars I've raced against.
