Engine Coils Or Maf
Engine Coils Or Maf
My 2001 Max Has 76000 Miles On It And I Am Encountering Hard Starts Maybe One Out Of Every Ten Starts. I Drive The Car To The Store For Five Minutes And Then Get Back In To Restart And It Takes Five Or Six Turn Overs For It To Start. It Sounds Like The Engine Is Flooded. I Know It Sounds Like A Starter But I Am Convinced Its Probably The Maf Going Bad. Any Suggestions????????? I Know The Maf Can Be Replaced Myself, Does Anyone Have A Detailed Description Of How To Replace It And Where To Get One Since Dave B. No Longer Sells Nissan Parts? Thanks In Advance.

Are you running synthetic oil? That'll help it start easier.
THe MAF is contained in a 3" diameter black tube that connects to the throttle body with a wire harness connected to it. It's a piece of cake to replace.
Since when does Dave B not sell Nissan parts? I just bought something from him last week.
