can anyone tell me what the difference is between a cai and a oscai? i've never done any performance mods before and i'm planning on starting with a courtesy fstb.
should i also plan on getting a cai or oscai?
on a scale of 1-10, how difficult is the install?
and of course, how much and where can i get them?

thanks for your help guys.

Check out the sticky FAQ for an overview of the OSCAI, then click on the FAQ link in my sig and look up CAI.

I would say the CAI is about a 5 and the OSCAI is around a 2.

Check the Parts List to see who sells the CAI. OSCAI is a do-it-yourself job (check the How-To sticky).

Here's what the CAI sounds like:

Nope... the beginning part is more muffler/y pipe than CAI. After about a second or two it's all CAI.

Ummmmm.... nope. Hard to explain. You have to see/feel/hear it in person. The CAI doesn't really get loud until ~3K.
