i have a slightly damaged CF trunk that i will be sending back to Ionic Dynamics in CA, once i get my new one. it has a small crack in the corner near the rear window. I know Jose from Ionic Dynamics wants to sell it at a very discounted price, so it might be worth contacting him about it if $700 is too steep for you?

because it has more complex curves and the demand isnt that high so its more $$$ to make

Wait, is the price for a brand new one or the cracked one? A brand new one is $675.
