Warranty issue

Nissan dealers really suck

I have a 03 SE with a power seat that will not slide forward or backwards. I have the security+plus silver warranty.

I went to a local dealer who inspected the vehicle and diagnosed the problem as a failure of the driver's side power seat motor. They then advised this is not covered by my warranty. WTF I reviewed my service agreement for the silver plan and guess what. Under the electrical section, a power seat motor is listed as a covered part.

I called Nissan Consumer Affairs and guess what, they also suck. In three days, I have not received a call back from them regarding this issue. They assigned this to a specialist who is never available, and apparently does not take incoming calls and is not returning my calls.

My question, what good is the warranty if it does not cover a part that is listed in the covered parts section.

WTF

Take it to another dealership, show them the documentation.

did you show the first dealer the page that says the power window motor is covered?

try that, if they still refuse, show the service manager. if hes still an ***, go talk to your salesman, or the sales manager (if thats the dealer you bought it from).

or just try another dealer.
