Just some shots of the subs I will be putting in...I want to thank Derek (skierxxx56) for the great deal on these. These will compliment the color scheme of the Arc Audio amps nicley. That part should be done in a week or two.

Ok, well, I had no luck in fitting the DVD player in the glovebox as the depth is just not there, so back under the seat she goes. But CRAP, I already cut a hold in there!!! So, let's try doing a different take on the MAXIMA logo...

...I sanded off the original finish using a dremel flap wheel and primed her over. Hmmm, looks like the dvd player wasn't as wide as the Maxima logo. I then trimmed and rounded over the opening. I still have to repaint the GB and clearcoat [it] and the logo.

Alright, I've scoured the 'net to NO END in an attmpt to find a direct OEM replacement carpet for our cars. So, I just bought a $20 roll of automotive carpet, and ghetto fabbed my own! It had to be done peicemeal, but I did it such that a good portion of the seams would be covered. I made it using spray glue and a regular ol stapler.

Nice job on the carpet Dan. I can't wait to see it in person. Maybe this may be my solution too.

I'm also looking forward to waking up tomorrow and scrubbing the winter shti out of my interior.

Oh Interesting. I was also wondering what you did with the yellow wire on the molex cable? Did you just send that along with the red wire or did you just tape it down

Hey, I spent a few hours going over your interior overhaul (you are meticulous!) and I ended up having a question for you.

I am in the process of ripping out my interior and putting in some damper/barrier material. I decided to go with Cascade though, thats my only difference from what you did. Anyway, how many sq ft of material did you use on the trunk of one material? The trunk is the only thing in question here and I dont want to buy too much.

Thanks in advance!

I just read all 22 pages. And damn you are nuts.

But I LOVE the way it is turning out. The work you put into this is, is just crazy. True dedication and definetly not like most others on here where they say something will be done and nothing ever happens.

I was just curious though about the carpet issue. What exactly is different from the 2000 carpet and the '01 carpet??

http://www.stockinteriors.com/

They only list from '95-'00, but damn is there really a difference??

Once again though, this is awesome!
