[QUOTE=Metal Maxima]I think Spencer summed it up best: "You're the freaking one-man version of West Coast Customs...on the East Coast!"
wassup Dan... i'm ordering the sound deadening stuff but i'm already installing the sound system today(i don't feel like going to work & i'm curious how loud n clear my components are), so probably when the stuff is in, i'll make that appointment wit' ya.

MOTYear!
this thread is so motivating to get off my *** and beautify my car, but I am in college, so hopefully somewhere down the road I can get a project like this going and finished in a reasonable amount of time.

Ok, I have been busy with the past few nights taking some computer programming classes (RS Logix 5000), but now I have some more time to devote to the car.
CURRENT STATUS:
-Monitor and HU have been mounted to the console.
-All power inverters and wiring harnesses have been soldered
THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY WORK
- Finish all remaining cold cathode, audio system, and LED wiring
- Mount passenger door
- Install subwoofer, amplifier (not to fg amprack, need to test settings)
NEXT WEEK
- Install center console
- FINISH ALL PLASTIC PANELS!!!
Lots of cool lighting stuff coming up, stay tuned!!!

UPDATE: Alright, guys...got some bad news. I have not been able to do S'HIT on this project since it being raining since Friday morning. This crap is supposed to continue until Wednesday, so I will have to just bide my time during the interim...
Brunoma. The man, the Legend. He parted out his Max and sold it last year. I think he now drives a G35.
That is the single best compliment I have recieved yet.
Me either...

I give great respect to Dan for his ongoing project overhaul. the rain is a bich but people should remember that it's just Dan doing all the work then going to work/school.
Dan the Man aka Metal Max aka Mr. WestCoast Custom.
I'm waiting for the Sound Deadening crap to come in.
quick pic of my current interior

hey! he's mr. eastcoast customs.....f the west coast...haha....just kidding guys on the left coast don't kill me....
And damn straight dan is the man, engineers definitely can handle a plethora of things happening at once....
but this like any other engineering project is always planned to only take a little bit of time but usually ends up taking 15 times the original estimate...aint that right dan?

Awesome project, I'm really liking how it's coming out. You're gonna have to give me some pointers on wiring up some LEDs It's finally supposed to stop raining tonight so I cant wait to see the next batch of pictures!
