Ok i have had some ideas to rewire my sunroof.

Genius Idea #1) Put the switches for open and tilt in the little spots where the heated seat buttons go. On my car i dont have heated seats so just have plastic rectangles in that spot and would love to have the switches right there instead of on the roof...

Idea #2) Rewire the sunroof so it auto closes when you turn off the car.. I have no idea how to do it but my girlfriends suburban does it....

Any ideas on how to go about either project?

Thanks,
Adam

good luck getting all the wired from your roof to your heated switch holes

I too would also like a way to close the sunroof when the car is off.
sincet he sunroof is still active after the car is off I bet its possible but you would need to find a way to disable the circuit that disables the "you're able to open/close any of the windows after you turn off your car unless you open any door" feature or you'll have to just wait until the sunroof is closed before you can open your door good luck

get a aftermarket alarm with the window roll down capability, wire that to the sunroof too, when u arm the car (lock) everything closes when you press a button ie. 4 the window cracks a bit (your sunroof too if it's wired) hold the 4 down and it'll roll down more, press arm to close it. i think the module for viper is 530. not model it's an accesory. i ddint get it, probably won't be anytime soon, havin' difficulties affording things. heehe.
